We have made it to the halfway mark for Chapter 1, everybody! If I had any, I’d sound the noisemakers and pop the streamers! Since I don’t, though, let’s just be glad that Mona wasn’t stiffed any moolah, and in fact has managed to turn a pretty profit. Maybe she will buy some noisemakers and streamers on the way home – it has been a long shift for her, after all.
That’s our Este. Tip like a champ.
He tries, Tish, you know that he does.
Ten bucks? Nevermind that… It’s PURPLE! <3 This is some kinda town.
You have no idea how much I long for purple money to line my wallet. I suppose I could photo-copy some, but as I understand it you can get in trouble for that sort of thing.
I hope he thought it was a five!
With the clever color-coding of money (why do we just have boring green in the states, anyway? All the COOL countries have colorful money), I am pretty sure he intended for the ten… unless. Gasp. Maybe he’s color-blind? Oh, tragedy, oh, woe!
Is that a Vincent Van Gogh on that ten dollar bill? Am I seeing things?
That is most definitely a Vincent van Gogh – wow, good eye!
What a coincidence! The equalment to a ten dollar bill in Iceland is actually purple! 🙂
I love your webcomic by the way, the artwork in particular is stunning! Can’t wait for more!
Hmm…is Stefan trying to be a good guy after all, or does he actually have a thing for our red-headed ingenue? Dudes have been known to hang around certain establishments to hit on the waitresses.
I think he was just impressed with her patience and decided to reward her for it. I bet he didn’t leave the over waitress that much of a tip! I love this all of it is very creative, especially the money haha
